I think this is Scotland’s time, the glory days when Scotland was the premier football team on the planet are returning.
Do you know that Scotland have never lost a penalty shootout ?Do you reckon you can surpass the historic 0-0 win at Wembley from the last Euros this time Cal?
Do you know that Scotland have never lost a penalty shootout ?
I believe it’s because of our strong mentality, 2 penalty shootouts and 2 won. I can think of other nations who seem to crumble mentally when it comes to such matters. Is that because they’ve never got out of the group stages do you think mate?

Have England ever won the Euros ?Hopefully that strong mentality can get you out of the group stages for the first time since *checks notepad* ever this time mate.

Or maybe the “seeding” nonsense has helped. You’ve had two very favourable draws of late and still won zilch.England’s strong mentality has enabled them to progress to the knockout stages of tournaments where getting to a penalty shootout is even a possibility mate.
Indeed Rita, since it’s obvious by now that England are at tournaments just to make the numbers up.the taking part that counts?
This is the key point of today. What kind of draw will England get? The last few have been very soft indeed - with practically the whole of the last Euros laid on at Wembley for them and still they found a way to toss it all away despite the heroics of Jordan Pickford.Or maybe the “seeding” nonsense has helped. To be honest mate, there’s some good teams in every pot. Croatia pot 3, Italy pot 4. Obviously depending on the draw, but I think there aren’t going to be many easy groups, if any. This is the key point of today. What kind of draw will England get? I think England are, on paper, the second-best side this time. I'd like to see them earn it the hard way. I suspect a tough group would stand to them later on, and it is very survivable given three teams progress in four groups.
Nevertheless, I suspect it will be something akin to:
ENGLAND
THE VATICAN CITY
TRANSNISTRIA
THE ORKNEY ISLANDS
Are they any good nowadays ?England get Denmark.
