£20 and can travell all over Germany for a full day.

The day after I will have to buy another one, but for the amount of train travel day of the game, I save a few quid.

Think paying normal fair for each train journey, its about £60!!

Yes, there are trains to Berlin after the match, but they are ICE or IC.
Tickets like that "lower saxonia ticket" are not valid for those trains.

Phew! Thought I'd screwed up there. I think the price is about €19 each way on ice, don't think they'll be a savings card that'll get me it any cheaper, so prebooking seems the way to go. Thanks

yes, prebooking special price is the best for your needs, I think.
But be aware: you have to use exactly the trains you booked
Saving card makes no sense for one trip.

Just sorted out travel for Lille. Didn't realise before how cheap it is to get a cross channel ferry -- car with 4 passengers just £64. Whack in say £120 petrol to get there and back, that's £45 each. And by the time I've got all the duty paid cigs and booze in the boot (all for personal consumption of course) I'll be quids in.

Exactly mate - same as Southampton away basically! Once you hit French mainland you're no more than 1hr drive from Lille. Have fun!!!!
