I think alot bought tickets for the home section, in preparation for a low allocation, alas, we got 5,000, so i think there will be a lot of 'home' end tickets knocking about in the next week.

How many blues are expected in Lille. We have sold our allocation of 5k+ and every everton forum or fan page there is hundreds sitting in the home end

However many go it will be a new experience for the local police. I just hope they don't panic or go over the top with their policing, or it could turn nasty. I remember the night of the game in Florence, with the Italian police all ready with batons and shields, just waiting/hoping for things to kick off. The behaviour of our fans that night was brilliant. They weren't taking the bait so didn't react. But make no mistake, the police would have piled in if given a sniff of a reason. Lets hope the Lille police are more like the Nurnberg police -- a visible presence but very low key and non-provocative.

Do you remember the size of those armoured water cannon trucks near the away turnstiles! I'm 6ft and my head was level with the bumper.

I can't see any reason why the French police would be looking to kick off, if we behave ourselves then so will they.
