Its usually later the same day. They usually have a few things to iron out (for example, even though we're in different competitions, I dont think us and the [Poor language removed] are allowed to be at home the same week, as there would be too many travellers coming through a main airport. Im not 100% on that though, as while thats preferred, they sometimes still allow it and make tweaks elsewhere, like when we had to play Sporting Lisbon on the Tuesday afternoon.)
Ive just got my shifts for the week of the first game and Ive got a day off either side of the days leave I booked for the Thursday! Come on, someone like Inter, Seville or St Etienne away please!
Anyone know of any supporters groups doing trips again this time? I went with one for Nuremberg, and it worked out cheaper than the club, and a lot less hassle than trying to book it all myself. Did Liege and Athens with the club, the Liege bus trip was obscene and Athens was damn expensive.
