Just heard the CL music playing at the Emirates. It didn't play when we were home to Villareal back in 05.

I was told the music only played when you had qualified - i.e. Group stages onwards. Did it change?
 
I badly want Celtic in our group.

Would definitely be a European away I could get to without costing a fortune or involving planes/ferries.

Would be cracking atmospheres at Goodison and ParkHead on both nights too.

There was (is ?) a european travel club, the more points you totted up under the criteria the more chance you had of getting a ticket, I know I've got 8 out of 10 points. Do a search on the official site and you'll find the old pages.
 

You got 3 points for 21+ aways from the previous 2 seasons, 2 points for 11-20 and 1 point for 1-10.
Olomouc was the only game that was a problem for tickets, as all the others were played in massive stadiums and everyone got in.
 
Salzburg getting stuffed in Malmo (would drop us down to 2nd in Pot 3).
Ludogerets 0-0 Steaua (Steaua - seeded - won first leg 1-0)
Other 3 matches don't affect us.
 
Do we think they will continue the euro travel club points system from the last time we were in europe or start from scratch, Hopefully the points people had from the last time we were in europe are recognised

We will be 2nd in Pot 3 if Malmo win (3rd if Ludo go through)

It was 6 years ago. It would be pretty daft if they did tbh

Would be an incredibly unfair way of doing it. Some of the people who went to loads of aways the last couple of seasons might not have even been able to go to the match when the European trips were happening. It should go off away purchases from the last two seasons.
