Thought it was margional to be fair. They were better in the 1st half, fulham better in the 2nd until they both ran out of steam but Madrid had their strikers with something left in the tank. If zamora was still on and fit, different game IMO

fulham looked battered in extra time, tiredness in everyone. But playing 60 or so games will do that to a team

Bit gutted really, was hoping Fulham won so that there was a possibility of the crying the RS did when we got fourth would kick in to catch them out. IE that the holders got the qualifying place to defend the title and the side in the lowest qualifying spot miss out.

Could have been beautiful.

Gutted for Fulham, the stateside fans of their club are a good lot. However if there is a silver lining to this maybe the RS may think that Hodgson just isn't good enough for them right now.
