Seems to me that Liverpool often finish these importnat ties at Anfield and not away - seems to give them an advantage every time.

Looking on the bright side, we want Rafael to stay. So a near miss in the Europa Cup will do me nicely - say a disputed penalty belted in by Zamora....

That way, Rafael can say that it was a 'nearly' season. He gets more money to waste this summer ('cos he cannot pick a player to safe his life...). And they continue in the also-ran slot.

I understand the caution, but that was a dog of a result last night for Liverpool. They have an uphill task at Anfield. One goal by Atletico in 90 minutes and I dont see where a Liverpool team without Torres get the firepower to get three goals from. By the way, Atletico have gone through the last two rounds of this competition on away goals against Sporting and Valencia.
