I think in the case of La Liga it’s because everything is decided already

No they only decide specific times quite late in the day. Learned that when going to Bilbao last year. It’s a bit of a hassle in terms of planning

Last week when I went to Italy.

I was in Italy before I knew if I'd be able to attend Lecce-Atalanta. They just have zero consideration for fans there!

Yeah we missed Espanyol at home last year because they changed it to Monday night from Sunday.
