They have a decent chance.

I just don't want them to. They are having a good couple of seasons and a CL win would give them the clout to continue and pull further away from us.

The likes of Arsenal and City etc have already established that gap and I want as few teams as possible being up there.

If Villa do the double and win both the FA and CL Cup, that's double the fume for the RS.

Most would agree they're the underdogs but there are good subplots to match - Emery has a great record in cup competitions coupled to his PSG tenure while Lucho now has the Qatari club in superlative form

On paper both matches will have the obvious 2 favored yet they are both more even than it might seem.

In terms of CL format, it's also interesting that home advantage doesn't appear to have the same weight it has had in seasons past as I fully expect tonight's 4 quarterfinalists to give equally great performances in the return leg. Or perhaps the matches are simply more open

I still envision Inter vs Barça in one semi and Arsenal vs PSG in the other
