Thanks Fella's...and Ladies if there are some. Going by the welcome it seems like a great forum, so glad to drop in. Makes a change from sinking under a deluge of negativity elsewhere!
Looking forwards to contributing..................so, I guess you all like transfer rumours like anywhere else? Don't profess to be 'in the know' at the Club, but I do know that Kieron Westwood (Cov City goalkeeper) has been on the radar and spoken to in passing...'sounded out' I guess. Will keep my ear to the ground on this one as it could have a good chance of coming off if he's relatively content to play second fiddle to Tim.
Anyone rate him? Pro-goalkeeper coach I know very, very well rates him highly and confirmed tentative interest from Everton.
 

Hi DutchBlue.......is there any other Blues close to you in Sittard? Have a good Dutch mate who lives a few miles from there and who has adopted Everton since I got him to get me Liege away tickets last season....brought him over for the Arsenal game too when his fellow countryman scored the equaliser in injury time. Big Roda JC fan....understand they are merging with Fortuna to form a single club...that right?

Heard good things about Westwood - not sure we would pay the money for a backup keeper just yet though? Think it was £4m that was mooted last time?
 
Last season, the official fan club of Fortuna Sittard, organised a coach trip to the Everton vs Sunderland game. Everyone in the travelling party enjoyed the trip and more or less adopted EFC as their favourite 2nd team. No one is as fanatic about the Blues as me though.

On the merger. Luckily it collapsed at the very last minute. Would've been devestated if it went through. Absolutely hate Roda JC and would never have visited a game of this newly founded club.
