Dont suppose you know bus information from grange-over-sands station to the racecourse. I have tried to search the web but cant find timetables to and from the train station, how often they run etc. I am in the process of planning the day out in July but would be easier if i had all the information to make things go smoother. Any help boys and girls would be appreciated.

there will be extra buses on racedays as if you've ever been there on a normal day you will know that cartmel is a church, a priory, a pub and a field, oh and mavis moved there from coronation st.

Cheers for that mate. Just one question regarding what i have highlighted. Is'nt there a racecourse there too?

True, very true. Maybe they make it in the field, the priory, the pub or the church. (y)

just ask mavis when you get there. don't be suprised if she says "well i doooooont really know"

on sale in the corner shop/post office I believe and also in Tescos.

Takes the romance out of it a bit - buying it in tescos-

should buy it in a pub after a nice walk, tasty meal with a few pints of the local brew!

is it that haven site ? went there with the kids at end of last summer hols.

been to cartmel a few times, bunked in one time head down heading for anywhere and heard this high pitched voice "eh, you cant just stroll in here" i looked up and there was emlyn hughes turning sausages on his bbq, "yes i fukcin can" was the reply, quickly followed by "Everton are magic" as i strolled past him singing, to be fair he did laugh, in hindsight i shouldve grabbed his bubbly and a sausage before doing one.

Ye the haven one down that ball ache of a road. You cant walk anywhere :dodgy:.

Steevie, a raceday service runs from the train stations, either Grange staion or Cark-in-cartmel. Not sure on the times but would assume it is quite regular.

We walked back to flookburgh last time. Got told it would only take 10 minutes, hour and a half later we're still walking through postman pat land.

Oasis at Wembley stadium
Paul Weller at Sherwood Forest
World Cup Twenty20 Super 8's at Trent Bridge
Hopefully get away somewhere in the summer with the missus, might only be in England though, credit crunch + student budget = ooooh shiiiiiiiiiit.
The summer in general.
Finishing my first year at uni (scary) and starting my second (even scarier)
