If we lose this I hope it's the game that finally turns the match-going fans against Dyche. Fans' pressure is the only way he's going to leave before his contract is up.

Obviously it'd be better for the manager to simply realise we've got 45 minutes against 10 men and push the team to go for the win instead of attempting a 0-0 at home.

We all agreed with officials that Pickers tackle on VVD wasn’t a red a couple years ago, so I don’t see how this one can be argued polar opposite in good faith.

He got away with it cos the build up was offside. And in retrospect PGMOL said he should've been sent off. It was a red all day but got off on a technicality

The RS got away with one in the derby last season too

…it’s like so many games, we fail to exploit promising situations and I’m not sure Brentford being down to 10 men makes a lot of difference here.

Even before the sending off, I’d love to know how many times Mykolenko had possession in the top third but provided zero threat with his cross into the box. McNeil running into dangerous areas but failing to capitalise. Good situations but poor quality.

Fear is, they carry threat and it wouldn’t surprise if they exploit a situation when we don’t. Interesting Dyche has switched McNeil and Ndiaye.

Playing at home with the scores level for 45 minutes left against a team with ten men who have lost ALL of their away games so far… I’m not sure how much easier Dyche could have got it now, let’s see what he tries to actually win a game for a change. There can be no excuses for him if he doesn’t do something to win from here
He couldnt trie if he wanted because he hasnt got a clue what to do.

Never mind who it was done to. We didn't all agree, I think most blues realised we got away with one that day. There was no intent by the Brentford lad, but it's very dangerous and correctly given a red card.

If we can’t expect us to win at this point then what is Dyche even doing as a manager?

Actually with that image posted it does justify the dangerous play threshold.

It's just one of those really when a CB is flying in to score and can't quite reach the ball and inevitably will follow through on the keeper so sometimes the foot is high.

Whatever the debate have to take advantage of playing a full half v 10 men at home now as won't get too many other opportunities this season. Remember Brentford taking full advantage when Branthwaite got sent off a few years ago, need to do the same here.
