RVP and Rooney might not work as a partnership, someones goal tally is going to suffer at the end of the day, they both won't be hitting 30 i highly doubt.

That's a good point mate, you rarely get 2 players hitting even 20 at the same club in one season.

I think Van Persie might flop at united, or at least score under 20 goals. He might not adapt to united's style of play and he's more injury prone than Rodwell. Saying that I I don't think we can get more than a draw on monday though.

It's the one position they don't need to strengthen IMO. Rooney and Chicarito can both score over 20 goals a season and Wellbeck and Berba is top back up.

I thought a deeper midfielder would have been where they spent the big money.

I think this is what it will be. Most will say swap Osman and Naismith but it'd be a gamble to play Naismith on the right, at least we know can link up with Jelavic. Coleman's too much of a risk.
