Absolutely elated. Had a lump in my throat at the final whistle that wasn't even there at Wembley. There were 11 heroes on that pitch tonight. Okay, we weren't Barca going forward but the defensive effort just shows that Moyes has not lost the dressing room, never gave up on anything and has to be given some credit for tonight's sensational performance.

Stracqualursi.... he's not the best player but I genuinely want to have his babies. What an effort. What a man. What a night.

Re City: I always suspected they have a soft centre and there's another confirmation tonight. Great when they get a head of steam up and are allowed to stretch play; totally clueless about breaking down stubborn opposition regardless of 60/70% possession.

They have a long way to go before they learn the tricks of the trade a title winning team has to master. If that was United tonight they'd have been mixing it up much more - City's patient build up was just allowing us to filter back behind the ball in numbers. If United weren't so patchy this season I'd have no hesitation in calling it #20 for them right now.

He was right though, we havent played like that all season and he probably thought Hibbert in for Duffy would mean Aguero, Dzeko etc would rag us all over the place. He is wrong though that the players did their best, they were all below bar with the possible exception of Lescott.
