it will be interesting too see how chelsea target gary cahill copes against a strong player like straq tonight, obviously we need to give him the service , only problem i can see with this is the temptation to just pump the ball in the air for straq to win knock ons for saha, osman or donovan to run onto, we could be the new wimbledon !!

I'm sure we will go long but to be fair I do not see us opening them up any other way, can you imagine Neville threading a ball through for Saha, I remember once against Bolton when Neville was in the middle and we passed the ball about, probably 15-16 passes and the ball came to Neville and he gave it the big heave ho and a certain Brazillian striker named Jo plucked that high, long and not so handsome ball out of the air, deftly turned and buried it. One of my favourite Everton moments....

Yeah but what happens if TH gets injured ??

Generally speaking, I don't think Moyes gives himself options from the bench. McFadden, Gueye, Bily and Anichebe are all similar-ish players. They can play off a front man or out wide but they're not really likely to impact a game. He seems to pick players based on seniority and reliability rather than form and attributes.
