Going to the Bolton game on Wednesday hope to see Everton extend there run and with a win , Bolton not in form lately and we are on a good run now so hopefully will see some entertaining football on wed , Landon back as well hopefully drente will be too :)

Damon FFS.

Thought Heitinga did a really decent job in midfield today, would be happy to keep him there for this one as long as Neville isn't partnering him ffs, glad m0ylez had the balls to get him off today.

Sexy Sylvain to carry on his fine form.

I expect Bolton to come and sit back and try to hit us on the counter. We always have problems breaking down teams who try to soak up the pressure so 2 up front is a must to keep the ball and the pressure on them.

basically we need the same type of ballsy attitude as today ....we mightnt have great players but if positive thinking comes from the top on the day they will react

another close game im torn between a 1-0 or 1-1

great write up

Top preview Anchicobe. Donovan's bound to start (it's in his contract isn't it ?), and Roy the Boy should be back as well, so we will have better attacking options. Can't see Distin being dropped after today's performance so Heitinga in MF with Rodwell/Fellaini. Hopefully he changes it upfront with either Osman or Donovan behind the striker, who will probably be Saha again as Vic hasn't had much game time yet. Shame,as it would be good to see Stracq start. We'll win it 2-1.

good start to the year Chico, splendid stuff, btw hows the Tamworth preview coming along? we shall defeat the 6 fingered inbreds by 3 Tony Hibbo screamers to nil. COYB

Don't think so mate, I doubt Moyes would have that either.

Hope I'm wrong but just pondering it I can't see him starting. Moyes is remarkably loyal to winning teams. Even though he should start with the team that finished the game or similar. I'd have a midfield of Drenthe, Fellaini, Barkley, Donovan and Osman pushed behind Anichebe like. They're bottom of the league for a reason, go at them. But that's me.

I'm dreading the Tamworth one lid!

Hello mate, has anyone ever got your attention by shouting "Alioalioalioalio", raising and lowering their voice to give the impression of left to right speaker crossfading in the style of Fabio from Fabio and Grooverider?

I doubt you'll get many more posts of this outstanding quality on GOT for the rest of the year folks.

I f*cking hate ewoks - the whole Star Wars saga started on the slippery slope from their introduction.

Just for that I hope we dry bum them closer to relegation

After processing our result this morning, want to see:

Howard
Hibbo - Jags - Distin/Heitinga - Baines
Drenthe - Osman - Fellaini - Gueye
LD
Straq/Anichebe (yes, I'm even putting him in here)

OR

Same back line
LD - Osman - Fellaini - Drenthe
Anichebe
Straq

Think we'll see:

Howard
Hibbo - Jags - Distin/Heitinga - Baines
LD - Rodwell - Fellaini/Heitinga - Drenthe/Gueye (pending injury)
Osman
Saha

I can see Cahill being dropped based on today, and I just can't see Landon starting on the bench. We didn't have wingers today, theoretically he's got to put at least 1 on, right?

Awesome preview as usual Chico. Love the last line by the way - don't know if you know, but MLK day is coming up in the US - January 16th I believe.
