I've just advised the dog that me and him will be going on a very long walk, this time tomorrow, with No Phone !!!

Used to terrify me, the derby.

Realised today that I’m far less nervous about it than I am about other matches. Everton have beaten me down so completely in this fixture that I just expect absolutely nothing.

The positive is no stress. Unless we take the lead (which isn’t often), then the stress comes.

Knowing our gang of pillocks, they’ll score after a minute and we’ll have 90 plus the standard three hours of “added time” to ensure the return of all the stress before we give away two 99th minute own goals.

It’s the hope etc etc…

At least he benched young. Prefer Gomes to Doucs as we might actually keep the ball for more than 2 passes with him, but I’ll take the minor victory. Get a win, seal safety, and ruin their title ambitions. What a day that would be.
