Still absolutely buzzing. A real performance to a man (well, almost) with passion and determination to win every ball. This is the performance I’ve been waiting for. Not just a win, but one in which we played like we were hungry for it.

My MOTM is DCL for the work he did, but since everyone is voting for him, I gave my vote to Tarky. He was a stand out in a pretty resolute defence. Big head out of danger throughout. What a night!

Tough call for man of the match. I think I would highlight 2 main nominees, Calvert-Lewin and Gana. Gave it to Gana, he was absolutely everywhere and when he did win the ball back he had a drive about him, even from very deep. The ball seemed glued to his feet at times. I agree with the other 2 with the most votes, in Pickford and Branthwaite but I don't think there would have been any complaints if it was given to any one of them out there.

We needed that more than anything. If we had lost that and lost it well I think that would have been it for a lot of fans, the apathy has been growing and growing but that result has invigorated the club more than anybody could have wished for. It is only one match but it could have a huge effect on the state of the club as a whole.

Spot on. It is incredibly sad that old girls days are now but a few. It's heartbreaking but we've been here before. Tears will be shed, but a new dawn awaits the mighty blues. UTFT!

Walking up to get the soccer bus last night, there was a young lad with his dad in front of me, he was saying I can't wait to get into school tomorrow to give them loads like they give me.
Have a great day lad, they might not come around as often as we like, but when they do, make sure you enjoy it to the max.
