Some of the players pissed on the Club emblem last Saturday. But thanks to a fantastic write up Chico b)I’m now longing to the City match. b)

Why? Well I hope that it will force Kenwrongs hand and that he will kick out Moyes. At the very least that Moyes will drop the three players and give youth a chance.

I could hate every single person from the tea lady upwards and still want Everton to win and yes this is a 'I am a better fan than you' style comment.
 
Thanks for the preview. Always enjoy them, certainly sums up what I feel at the moment.

It's a no lose situation for our players this week. We lose then despite being the home team we were beaten by the current league champions who have spent kerjillions. If we win then we've bloodied the nose of everything that is wrong with modern day football. I would not be at all surprised if we won but I think the game will be drawn.

I never want Everton to lose, but should we win the euphoria will quickly be replaced by 'meh'. The game to win was last week, and I think I'll feel like this for the rest of the season. I don't think we realistically have anything left to play for, and I'm sickened by the club captain, manager and board.

So, schoolgirls in Colomendy you say?
 
My lad has a cup q/final on sat, if it's a late k.o. then we wont go to the citeh game. He missed last week due to our earl ko and they got beat with the lad in his position getting ransacked, and all for what ?
 

I think Neville will be dropped but that the rest of the team will be similar to last week. I've got a nagging feeling Moyes will do something awful, like bench Mirallas and start Naismith, but it's not worth worrying about now.

Baines should really be given a rest seeing as though he's been injured for months and there's nothing left to play for. I can't see it happening though.

If there is a repeat of the result and performance against Wigan then I can see a mass revolt happening in the stands. Not heard anything like it since the Friday night game in 84 during Kendall's reign when only 14,000 turned up and booed the team off the pitch at full time.

Everton have to put a performance in against City because if they don't then it will cause many to swerve purchasing a season ticket next year as a lot have simply had enough
 
Not looking forward to this one and quite sure there will be a fair bit of booing. But I want to try and be a little optimistic so I will go with a 1-1 even draw.

Got a horrible feeling he'll play Neville at RB and find a reason to "rest" Seamus!

So would most of us BUT I don't believe this issue has much to do with the intricacies of football management. It's basic human psychology. The current first choice 11 have almost zero accountability. Pretty much anything can happen and they retain their spot.

I agree with Moyes 100% that the team he usually puts out is our best team in a vacuum. However they are falling off the pace (likely in part because they don't fear for their spot and in part because our squad is so small there aren't many reasonable alternatives).

Duffy. Barkley. They aren't as good (yet). But they should start now to start sending some messages that these spots in the first 11 are not written in stone. Even if it just ends up meaning a lot more Osman (but the better Osman) and they go back on the bench after a while it will have done some good. It will make us worse but then it will make us better. We aren't going to get Europe with the current team playing this way anyway.

He probably doesn't think this way but from a PR standpoint if he plays some kids and we lose it's "oh well we got to see what we wanted" but if he persists with Neville et al and we lose things will get very nasty.

That said, not optimistic. At all. Great preview all the same azul, as per :)

you're right - there have been too many times where I have been frustrated with Moyes' tactics and team selection. I just want him out, and have wanted so for 3 seasons.
