Tonight Matthew I am going to be a fickle football fan. I tried to let on all week that I didn't care about todays game after last week but you know what I loved every minute of that today! Big Vic, Gibbo, Distin and Seamus played out of their skin. More of that please.

Oviedo should get his chance now with Pienaar out. We might even see some of Barkley with Fellaini missing.

TAKE A BOW SON.

Congratulations Everton with your best show of the season -
well done Mr Moyes - if you can consistently get this type of performance from your players I might change my opinion on you -
Well well well - Everton with 10 men upsetting and outplaying ManCity with 12 ( the ref played for them ) was a feast for the eye -
it is a pity we are either our own worst enemy or we are battling the ref when we play well - today we beat both hands down

Everton 2-0 Man City: Moyes delighted by clinical display
Manager David Moyes praises Everton's attacking prowess after they defeat Premier League champions Manchester City 2-0 at Goodison Park.

Leon Osman's fine 30-yard shot put Everton ahead on 32 minutes before they were reduced to 10-men when Steven Pienaar was sent off for a studs-up challenge, but Nikica Jelavic sealed all three points in the final minute.

Moyes admits his only criticism from the match was that Kevin Mirallas's first-half strike was "wrongly given as offside".
