this is going to be a really tough game for us because i think the JL thing isnt out of the systems of your players yet even though its not mancinis fault it was hughes's fault.
i cant say good luck but all i can say is may the best team win on the day

City will be very confident I am certain. They have been playing a very free-flowing game, quick passing, one touch-two touch football.
However, teams have been giving them too much respect IMO.
If we work hard like we did last week, make it difficult for them to pass the ball, get any momentum going, then we can trouble them.
They have been wobbly at the back, Mancini seems to have steadied the ship, but they are the same suspect players.
Hard work, passion and belief will be the key to victory today. Whichever team translates these qualities onto the pitch will take the points.

Think you're right that it'll be a tough game for both teams. Not necessarily due to the Lescott saga though. More to the fact that we've been getting our act together recently and you've had your act together for a while to be fair. Just hope I can get a decent thread somewhere. I thought it might have been on tv over here but they're showing Chelsea - Sunderland

Both teams are capable of causing eachother problems, we both have enough creativity and pace in the final third. We also have vulnerable defences. It all comes down to whose centre midfield stamps there authority on the game and dictates the play. It'll be an interesting battle in the middle of the park.
I'm hoping Fellaini, Osman and Cahill play like they did against Arsenal, but it'll be alot tougher with De Jong in the middle of the park.

De Jong isnt really all that IMO, hes not the finished article, hes very sloppy with his tackles and his postioning is questionable.
Him and Fellaini will have a little war tho, strong ref needed, do we know who it is?

de jong under hughes was mate but de jong has been immense for us and like you say should be a war in midfield today.
