Agree. And if the very first real appearance of Armstrong and JOB on the pitch at the same time and the general feeling is decent, imagine if they keep getting the nod to play.

It was a bit better. I'd hardly say we were tearing through them, and frankly we could've gone behind, but the sheer act of players attempting to pass the ball on the ground to each other a bit more, is progress. That's how far we've fallen, that's how low the bar is.

But at least we are trying to play football. I think we will improve as the game we tried to play tonight is alien to the players, they haven’t been asked to play football for a while. I don’t believe we are now a different team, I don’t think our problems are at an end but I do think that we may now be allowed to try and improve. We will still have bad days but I think we will may be allowed to have some good days. Dyche’s removal feels like a shadow has been lifted from the club.
