Thank´s Moyes for bringing us up out of the darkness of the 90s.

Thanks for giving us our pride back.

Too bad you never won anything but that´s football right and it worked our well for you in the end didn´t it.

Good luck in the future.

Right let me set the record straight for some of you tarts on here

Some of what I wrote was OTT but I am honestly not going to cry and sob because our manger has moved on to a bigger team

The fella achieved nothing at this club, 0 zilch yet we worship him like Utd do Ferguson

I guess over the next few years we will see how good the man is because un like here he has no excuses

If this was a Moyes appreciation thread I would have stayed out but it isnt its a match thread so I will write what I want, Dont like it tough sh1t

WINNER'S ATTITUDE!
NEVER SETTLE FOR LESS!
BE OUR NEW MANAGER!
YU DA BEYST!

Fantastic Scenes !

I wish some of the dickheads on here just logged of and lets the rest of us enjoy.

Well played, Everton! Solid win, brilliant that our Kev got both goals.

And thank you, David Moyes! You did your best for our club, and it was good enough to consistently finish 5th-8th. That (the FA Cup win apart) is a significant improvement over the previous decade.

Good luck to you, I hope you do well at Man Utd (except obviously when you play us I hope you get hammered).

I disagree with the claim that Moyes "hasn't done [Poor language removed] all here" completely.

He steadied us at a time when we were flirting with relegation and turned us into European participants, until the likes of Man City and Spurs overtook us with their superior finances. I have no doubt that had Moyes had more money then we'd have been a lot closer to the CL.

The man deserves respect, he's done a brilliant job.

The scenes are nice. People have the perfect right to salute him. I dont think anyone's arguing against it. But it tells a tale about this club that isn't too great.

You know what Dave if he had spunked shed loads of money and we were mid table I'd agree.

I feel emotional about it all to be honest.

Spot on. Without City we'd be in Europe regularly.

He gave his all for this club. He never took the piss. Whatever some may think about the lack of trophies he represented our club with class and dedication. You bet your ass I'm going to salute him.

When i think back to the Walter Smith and HK v3.0 days, this picture fills me with such joy. Gutted that Moyes is going. Anyone ****ging Moyes today is making a bit of a div of themselves. SAF rates him enough to insist on him taking over at the most successful club in the country. I'll trust his football insight over a few Moyes naysayers on here.

Thanks, David Moyes. You restored pride to a club who were really struggling at the time. And you carried yourself with enormous dignity at all times while that lot across the park tripped themselves up time and time again. It's a shame you never had the funding to show just how good you are.

Hope we f*cking batter you, like.

Look how tantalisingly close we are to the CL places this year. We were 1 or 2 good players away from finishing above Spurs and/or Arsenal, when commercially they tower over us.
