How calm was Coleman at the death with Dempsey flying at him from behind. Massive chance for him to do something daft and bottle it again, but he held his ground, the dodgy yank went flying and Seamus streamed away.

Ireland > Belgium tonight.

Brilliant result, for everyone put in a great shift, i thought we defended well too and were very unlucky with the goal, special mention to coleman and gibson, gibson's passing is just brilliant.

People expect a young lad who cost £60k from some non existant irish team to come in and be a flawless defending machine. He WILL make mistakes, thats part of his learning. What we need is for him to learn from his mistakes and become a better defender which he will do.

Should probably come off at the 66th when we have a lead or come on at the 66th if tied against a crap team or behind. Attacking-wise he's putting more crosses in, not very accurately and not taking too many defenders on one-on-one. I actually think he should do that more now, just has to find the right balance between the 2.

It took Baines about 2 years to learn here and he was a 6M player. Coleman should be a good one.

I'm actually struggling to think of a better way of winning than that.

- We'd been denied yet another penalty, players' heads would've dropped
- Naismith misses a sitter, we also miss other chances, players' heads would've dropped
- They score with a total fluke, players' heads definitely down
- The fact we scored twice in injury time when we thought all hope was lost
- The fact it was Jelavic with the winner, what a boost to his confidence (he looked bloody made up)

We definitely had issues in the previous 89 minutes, no doubt about that, but such brilliant circumstances of winning. I thought it was a deserved win, without us being particularly great (especially 2nd half).

Absolutely made up by that, get in.

Christ that was awesome. Spurs fans must be gutted, we did next to nothing second half. Such a shame Redknapp's not in charge.

Well in Blue Boys.
