Was impressed/surprised with how well drilled and organised they were. When Mirallas went off they did a great job nullifying the Baines/Pienaar threat and their physicality was too much for us at times. You'd think a team like that would try and go for the throat though. They had two top class strikers on there and could have been a bit more positive. That said, a point was a decent result for them, I suppose.

Agree with all this, I was expecting a much more fluid attacking spurs team but what they are is incredibly organised and hard working all over the pitch. Granted I haven't seen that much of them this season but they seem more of a unit than they did under 'arry. But like you say with their attacking options was a bit surprised by how little they created.

Just a crazy couple of mins finished off what was very very tight game. Anyone else think the ref kept completely taking the edge and pace off the game by constantly speaking to the players over free-kicks and such? Was doing my swede in.
