The old Moyes would be raising the white flag for this match and preparing his team for Palace on Saturday. Then be straight out with how the RS are in a different league in the post match interview after a safe 4-0 drubbing.

Lets see if it's the old or the new Moyes

In terms of derby record id take old Moyes over whats been happening the last 12 years.

I hope Arnold plays, because I think Illi will destroy him. I also want Mykolenko back because he seems to really step up against Salah. Aside from that, I just wanta good old fashioned chrnel house of a game. Lots of fire and fury. Scare the giblets out of them so that even if they win (and lets face it they almost certainly will), we ensure the game takes its toll on them. I would dearly love to see Tarkowski go right through that little blert Macallister:)

It seems to me that they're worried about this match. Why would they bother to rest players v Plymouth unless they wanted to save them for this match? On the other hand, they might've thought they'd beat Plymouth easy with a few reserves in and give the others a day off.

Whatever, they've had quite a few ordinary performances this season and still won. The pundits say it's a good sign that you can do that, but it doesn't work all the time.

If they have one of their good days they'll almost certainly win, but maybe they'll have an ordinary day and lose.
for once.

Someone told me this is the last ever night game at GP... Is that definitely true?
Yea there are no more weekends that clash with FA cup games/teams still involved. The closest we’ll get after tomorrow is the final game v Southampton probably getting moved to 5:30 for full tv coverage. But it’ll still be light by the time the game finishes.

Im only going bring this up once and perhaps I shouldn't because I want.. we need to go into this positive and fighting.

But I can't not highlight for a moment the fact the last derby ever at Goodison could have them pip us as having the most wins by 1 game. 1 poxy game out of the hundreds. The last ever poxy game.

It would be 100% quintessential unadulterated premium 'Everton that' for that to happen.

Never mind they are the best team in Europe at the moment and we are fighting relegation. Its all them 'everton that' stars aligning perfectly that has me worried more than anything. We are so wierd.

... But enough of that. Know what's at stakes blues. Call yourselves evertonians? Go out there and go to war. With anger and defiance.

yes, we will never hear the end of it from those smug gloating c n t s , I would have to quit whattss app if this happens. To be honest, I used to be more scared of the early 80's team with Rush than these modern teams, we can do it, whether I can bring myself to watch it is another question.

It is really weird that they won 8 games at Goodison between 2001 and 2011 which was out of kilter with all 10 year periods before or since. I don’t think they had particularly good teams in that period but they were a good cup side and,I suppose, a local Derby is akin to a cup match.

Their winning record at Goodison is their best against clubs where they have played more than 75 games at their opponents ground.

Our performance against Man Utd at Goodison is miles better than against them.
