I think I know why slot got sent off

It looks like he puts his hand out to shake the ref and the ref obliges and then slot does something during the handshake that irks the ref. My guess is slot squeezed his hand and wouldn’t let go and then started saying some stuff to the ref.

Pulls Oliver's arm back aggressively and got an instant red

They're a brilliant team but you can get about them away from home as we showed tonight and others have throughout the season tbf. Their get out of jail card is just how clinical they are but it wasn't enough tonight 💙

For what we lacked in quality our tactics and effort were spot on. Playing most of the 2nd half down their end is a huge testament to what Moyes has done in a very short space of time.
Don't Tell Davek

Liverpool's antics were a disgrace at the end tonight, badgering the ref throughout, but I'll bet the blame will point to Doucoure for celebrating by their fans. VVD absolute classless joke, saying ref lost control, no Virge you're Manager, Coaches and players lost control. Don't care what anyone says, we outplayed them before their flukey second goal, we should have won that and Liverpool FC should have had the good grace to accept it. McAllister has taken over from Henchoz years ago as being the invisible Man in front of a ref. We could have had a pen, lost one goal to a close offside had more shots and missed a few sitters, Liverpool were lucky tonight, but tomorrow media won't admit that it's not on their agenda.
With odd exceptions, pretty much the same story since the day the got promoted in 1962
