….the 3 consecutive wins have taken the pressure off us from a relegation perspective, in normal circumstances with this being our game in-hand it could even be considered a ‘free hit’. In a way, as far as the league is concerned, there might be more pressure on them than us but this is the last ever Goodison Derby and we’d all like not to lose it.

This has more meaning than titles and relegations, it's a historical game one that'll never be repeated. We simply cannot lose and I hope the players know what this means to us.

If they lose it's their game in hand gone, and they still have to play Arsenal a few weeks from the end of the season.

They also have to go away to Villa and City this month - so lose today the pressure starts to crank up on them.

We win today and they go on to blow the league this will be the one that will be looked at as when they lost it

they’ve won the league anyway

we need to try our best to get a draw

this will be our toughest game of the season

they are top of the league

we’re 6th from bottom
