Their away record is fantastic but they're usually involved in tight games. Be very disappointed if in the last derby at Goodison we can't push them all the way.

Always felt Moyes was too open in this fixture during his first stint. This time around he has to build from a solid defensive set up. That doesn't mean we're passive. Can still go out to defend but be on the front - the win last year was a perfect example of that.

They threw the FA Cup for this game, so I won’t be getting my hopes up. Our players will be more fatigued than theirs.

That said, the enormity of the fixture due to the move should make it a memorable occasion.

Hate these games. Even if its going our way im half waiting for the red card or penalty they usually get to swing it back in their favour.
Not that it will mean much to players now but i'd drum it into them they are playing in the last merseyside derby at Goodison and they could dine out on it for years if they get the result.

The RS could play Wednesday lunchtime and still run around like coked up YTS trainees that night.
Its irrelevant when the inhalers are out

The last derby at Goodison. Going for 4 league wins in a row. Surely this will be feral. Team will probably be the same as the Leicester game. Although changes would be acceptable.
We can't lose to these in the last ever Derby. Make it horrible
UTFT.
I hope we smash these because if we lose we leave Goodison having lost more Derbies at Goodison than we`ve won.... but that won`t mean anything to our players, look at what was served up at the last FA Cup game, and very last cup tie of any sort at Godison.

A winnable game against palace just a couple of days later...hmm...no squad really to rotate, with beto expected to play the full 90 then again another full 90 2 days later. This game can essentially means we end up losing 6 points and possibly players to injury. Not a great time for this fixture really. Not sure why our palace game wasn't moved to the Sunday.

Come on mate. We play Palace on Sunday then we can spend the rest of the season preparing for one game a week. We've exited both cup competitions in the 2nd game we've played in them so shouldn't be tired anyway.

Agree mate, i'm just surprised we hadn't heard this before as before our last derby win they were ahead in wins at GP
Yeah was thinking that. Its our fault its probably we have been so abysmal in the derby up until last year they have become apathetic and no ne thought to bring it up.

Bizzare alright
