It will be tough if our back four are as slack at the start as they were tonight. We got lucky with the disallowed goal first half and came out for the second without our heads switched on. As bad as United are if you give them easy chances they can still punish us. Put them on the back foot from the start, a full week to recuperate so no excuses.

Fancied a win from this even before reading that.

The re-energised backline should handle Hojlund and Zirzkee with ease and without Mainoo they must have the slowest central midfield options in the league with Casemiro, Ugarte and Eriksen the remaining options so those are two big misses for them.

2-1 win. Got some good results against them at home in last few years of Moyes first spell, was only one defeat in five seasons at Goodison from 2008-13. The record against them has only really gone bad again under Dyche.

today was the tough game

i’ll be disappointed if we don’t thrash these

beto goal after 5 mins, o’brien header on the stroke of half time then lindstrom on 65 mins.

lots of ole’s and all that in the second half

then ashley young bags one at the end for the memes

So we are the form team in the league!
Regardless of their result tomorrow we can still go ahead of them with a win here.
The squad will be still be pretty light with probably only Doucoure back.
But let's go and smash these Manc tramps .
