We’ve had softer pens given against us, there was contact but Young made a meal of it. Knowing what Young is like he’s clearly gone for the dive. I’d have argued that was a dive if it was the opposition. The problem I’ve got is that it wasn’t a clear and obvious error when the ref gave the pen, it took a lot of views and replays to decide it. Should have stuck with the refs call and not gone to VAR, but it’s fair enough that they overturned it.

Too placid Moyes in that press conference. I'm glad we have him but he should have kicked off about the VAR, they would think twice next time.

By the way, Doucoure should have gone to ground in the first half for a penalty. Sick of Everton being a nice club.
