We always seem to give away a silly or soft one against these…we must be due a pen.
I don't think anything has fundamentally changed. We bought one player and he's been benched.I was used to the 80s and expecting and demanding we thrash the likes of United. Anyone genuflecting at United these days should be removed from the club. There’s no excuse to implode today and today will be a superb test of this team’s psychology and determination. Are we the same old weak team or have things actually changed.
I reckon it’s because he thinks he’ll throw his weight about a bit will have to be subbed at some point so can bring on Alcaraz, which is preferable to the other way round.Somehow i always thought Moyes would do this change. But its not a change i would have made
Baines 2016, last pen we got home v these…we must be due a pen.
Why on earth has he started with Doucoure? And so it begins...
Doucoure instead of Alcaraz.
That really announces our intention to dominate, doesn't it...
Playing devils advocate these lot can’t cope with energy and being pressed. Doucoure will be all over them and then bring Alcaraz one for last 30 minutes.
Imagine being Alcaraz and seeing Doucoure and Harrison starting ahead of you after scoring and setting up both goals in the last game....Imagine watching Alcaraz get a goal and an assist and think “nah, I’d rather play Doucoure.”
Koff Davey.
I can get why he's done it but sadly even if he is absolutely rotten once again he won't be subbed either at all or until it's too late.As expected, Doucoure back in.
I can kinda get why Moyes has done it, but he really needs to have a good game here..
