Still can't believe that pen was over turned but then VAR is a joke, the whole process. Check a goal that was clearly on side for over five minutes, then show the ref one angle over and over to back up the decision you are trying to over ride...

Complete corruption/bias from the referee and VAR team all through the game.

It's done now though and seems no one apart from Everton fans care, if it was the neighbours there would be an inquest all over the media for months, but that would never happen to them anyway.

It is lovely to see that club looking so bad, a rotten club on the field and off it. The fact they could only scrape a draw with that amount of bias is telling.

They are going to stutter for years now.
United will be fine. If Radcliffe decides it’s too much and puts them up for sale I’m sure that sheik will come in that was interested before and buy the club and wipe out their debt. He was going to do that before so I’m confused why they thought Radcliffe was the better option. Teams like Utd and Liverpool always seem to fall on their feet

DM should have substituted Garner and Doucoure at 60-65 minutes. It was almost Dyche-like.

Utd for the first time were bossing the game and our midfield had gone for a cuppa. It was crying out for new legs
and the crowd knew it.

Still, I forgive DM everything just because he's put Jake at full back. The lad is a star, he was involved in the first goal
and his height just provides more cover to the defense plus he can pass well and is able to knock in better centres than Seamus ever did.

Think Moyes mentioned today that Tim had the same illness as Lindstrom, that might be why he came on a lot later than he probably should have.

Even bringing on Alcaraz around then might have put us in a better position to get back in control of the game. As the second half went on you could definitely see they were just slowly getting control without creating too many clear chances, and we waited to change thinks after they turned the game on its head.
Whats done is done and 3 points tonight will keep them behind us and possibly leapfrog Spuds if City turn up tonight.

Look I'm going to have a view here that's probably different than everyone, but it needs to be said

I hate all the embellishment/diving that occurs today in all sports, not least of which is in football, which probably has the worst actors of them all

So, coming from that perspective wholistically, I can see VAR overturning this one. We can debate the merits of "if this wasn't Everton, it wouldn't have changed" etc, etc, but it's my opinion I want to see less of what Young did, because big picture it'll make the game better. If I saw a guy embellish that contact against us and a penalty was given in the 90th minute, I'd be fuming.

On this particular circumstance, two things can be true. 1) It's entirely possible that the sum total of what occurred was enough to be a penalty. It was close. The only guy that knows for sure if he was truly impeded vs dove is Young. and 2) the contact on Young didn't warrant how he fell/how he flopped.

I'd have liked to see him try to get to the ball rather than focus on winning a penalty.
Get your sentiment but when your shirt is being pulled you can't run towards the ball. He was being stopped. The only thing left to do is go to ground to highlight it.

He waits. That’s what he does. And I’ll tell you what. Tick followed tock followed tick followed tock followed tick. Ahab says, ‘I don’t care who you are, here’s to your dream.’ The old sailors returned to the bar. ‘Here’s to you, Ahab!’ And the fat drummer hits the beat with all his heart.

Here’s to waiting.
I wonder, February unbeaten in the league...
