Well what a game, possibly even worse than we played at west brom, and i didnt think that was possible.

Saha did improve the game, but why we brought off Beckford i dont know, Anichebe was playing as a striker, and out of the two, Beckford did more, and looked the more likely to score.

I think today we were awful because of two reasons, Our midfield was awful and we didnt change it until Bily came on, and West Ham did their homework.

Firstly the midfield, Arteta and Fellaini couldnt control parker, they passed the ball so easily in midfield, we didnt know what to do, from the very start of the match you could see that osman needed to be in the centre aswell, yes we complain about a 4-5-1, but in this case it was needed.

Credit to west ham, they looked at our two most in form players and stopped them, Baines barely got a look in - he was closed down early, but he also didnt have much to run on to, as Osman wasnt the best out wide.

They also closed down Coleman so much, the only reason coleman does well is because he runs at the defence, but he didnt really have time to knock the ball past the defence. Coleman missed 2 good chances aswell, so it wasnt his day.

Bily changed the game, we looked stronger in midfield because osman moved inside, he scored a great goal, and got into some good positions too, there was a point in the match when Arteta shot, and bily was on the edge of the box, and all i wanted was Arteta to pass to him, because i was so sure Bily wouldnt have missed.

I wasnt too happy with Heitinga today, defensively he looked like he needed to calm himself abit, because he seemed to move forward to get the ball, and leave a big gaping space behind him for other players to run into. Attacking well, he hoofed the ball alot, when there was so much space infront of him to run into, if only to get a more accurate pass.

I think Arteta was made a bit of a scape goat today to be honest, he didnt do to bad today bar set pieces.

The two horrible things today was the fact that Bily didnt start - meaning osman was on the left, and the fact that Beckford was subbed. He was brought off at half time when the entire team was playing badly, he had just scored in the derby, and now he is subbed, thats horrible for confidence.

Very, very poor by Moyes today.

Superb technique, he should play, leaving a talent like that on the bench and an utter carthorse like Ancieiiebebebebe on the pitch makes me puke.

Despite playing plenty of his football in Russia in a more central role, Moyes added: “There’s no place for him in a central position given the quality of players we have in there at the moment.

“Not with Jack Rodwell to come into the team, Marouane Fellaini, Johnny Heitinga, and we’ve still got Leon Osman to come back.

“There could be a possibility behind the striker. A couple of people have mentioned that to me but it’s something I’ve not really considered that much because I already have a lot of people who can do that. I could have two players up front or I could play Steven Pienaar in there as well so there’s quite a lot of competition for those sort of roles.”

I love Moyes, he is the 2nd coming, but sometimes, he makes me :

Nice piece Dom. I think most PL managers if not all have Moyes' tactics sussed out and Moyes seem incapable of addressing games as they are played hence ?s on the subbing. Imagination seems to be lacking but poor games start at the KO and then in the first instance it is down to what team has been selected.

I think I would like to see the blackboard at Finch Farm when Moyes is instructing the players ahead of the games.

When was that spoken KB? Well Pienaar ain't here so that is a bit less competition. However looking at what was said, then why buy Bily in the first place?

I just thought we would never score and never looked likely to till billy's goal,we were just so bad all game for me and west ham deserved to win, when it went 1-1 though we would go on to win then coleman misses that open goal to put us 2-1 up and typical everton luck west ham go up the other end and score for what i though would be the winner, lucky to get the draw but its just an action replay of how the goals went in at goodison in this game last season-ha dont know weather to laugh, cry or be annoyed watching everton at times, they can make you so mad, anyway we play an hard team next week so we should win seems we can never beat these so called "easy teams".

Been waiting a bit to post after the match. First the GOOD: Feli had a decent match, great goal by Bily, and while Baines wasn't on a blinder, he wasn't a liability. Distin was a rock per the usual. Also, Jermaine Beckford had a great first half. Looked as if he had a goal in him. Saha when he was forward enough to be a threat, was. Now, the BAD: Find out what Anichebe's favorite food is, coat the ball in it, and maybe he could be bothered to be in the same frame with it. Looked winded at the end. Badly. Neville looked like he could hardly be bothered to defend at times in the second half. Hoofball, everytime? Really? Hope you aren't that predictable with Mrs. Neville. Cause if you are she is one bored woman. Never taken a shot at Pip, feel bad doing it, but he made me furious during the match. Seamus Coleman. Absolutely breaks my heart to put him in here, but he missed a sitter. Plain and simple. I think he is just wicked tired from the season so far, and is starting to feel the toll. Leon Osman. I am gonna take a line from Walter in the Big Lebowski: "Leon, you are out of your fracking element." Now the UGLY: Moyes and Arteta. Arteta is struggling to find form and has all season long. End of line. Moyes. First, not starting Bily, then taking Beckford off at the half when he looked like he had a goal in him, and leaving Big who was struggling to stay in the same camera frame as the ball, really rubbed me the wrong way. I hate to do this. But I really felt he can and should achieve more with the players he has. Forget Tranfers. If we are as broke as we supposedly are, save the money. With the players who survived the purge at Finch, you could field a much better team than the one that walked out to ZCars today at Goodison. Now I am a product of the State of Georgia's public school system. Puerto Rico teaches better English than Georgia does, and their first language is Spanish. I guess what I am getting at is that me telling Moyes anything about football is like a dog telling a bird how to fly. I shouldn't be. It is what it is, and we can do better. WE CAN DO BETTER.

Don't know about everyone else, but I'm getting fed up of Moyes picking his favourites above the players who could win us the game.
How the F Anichebe got a new contract is beyond me. Has any team wanted him on loan???
Beckford played OK in the first half, unlike Anichebe.
Arteta should not be allowed to take a corner EVER.
Why didn't Mr Glass start with Beckford? If you're on the bench, you're fit to play
Bily is a class act.

Sorry if I seem on a bit of a downer. Been the match, few pints. COYB

i'm wondering if beckford was suffering from a knock he got in the first half, he took a kick on his achillies. He certainly didnt deserve to come off although saha wasnt too bad (ive seen him worse) when he came on. Dont get moyles and his love for vic

That was one frustrating game today. A few things I want to get off my chest about the game, mainly the referee!
That dirty b@st@rd Scott Parker should have been sent off in the 1st half. His first foul on Anichebe warranted a booking, and he should have been off then with his late foul on Arteta.
Add to that, Fellaini's booking for his first foul - which was innocuous in my opinion - was completely undeserved.
Beckford looked alright if I'm honest, far better than Anichebe in the first half so I've assumed he picked up a knock?
With the exception of not going to ground quite so easily today, a good ball through to Beckford and one excellent run off the ball, he wasn't very good. The lad seemed more willing than he ever has done today, but suffers from two problems. He can't jump more than an inch off the ground and he's not a very good footballer. I hope he proves me wrong in the future on both counts, as physically, he's got the potential to be a nightmare for defenders.
Osman copped a bit of flack, but i thought he used the ball well. And it was excellent work from him, both perseverence and skill, to keep the ball in for Fellaini's goal.
Fellaini was superb in spells. About time he got a goal too. For the first 10 minutes, i thought I saw signs of a good partnership developing between he & Arteta. Arteta is copping a bit too much flack, he was ok, but needs to start playing the ball forward rather than always sideways and backwards.
Coleman had his worst game for a while, but the hammers closed him down with two men all first half and he seems to run out of steam in the second half. He should have thrown his head on Green's parry from Saha.
Baines was better when Billy came on. Billy for the second game on the bounce used the ball very well. Wasted one ball that I can think of and that was it. I'm really hoping this kid can get his head together. Took his goal excellently.
As far as team performances go, for me, worst performance since Newcastle. No tempo until the first equaliser.
I hope that Billy will get a start against Chelsea.
Genuinely, although I know I'll renew in April, I'm seriously wondering why I should when too many team performances have been poor, too many players seemingly not giving a toss. 60 minutes against Man united, The RS & Spurs being the only exceptions.
I'm seriously getting frustrated with home matches. It's not enjoyable, it feels like torture right now.
