No they don’t need to be great. Utd, Arsenal and Chelsea are either no better, or worse, than we are. Check Chelsea’s home record out. Won 5 lost 4. Carlo will not be scared of that.

You underestimate how poor our midfield is mate - Watford battered us first half if we put in the same performance away at clubs with strikers like Aubameyang we'll get massively punished.

Make no mistake we were very lucky to score those 2 Mina goals - like Newcastle they and us will likely not replicate that for a very long time.

I think Schneids will do well against Palace - keep in mind, he has fond memories of when he came on as a sub against them at Goodison a couple of years ago.

They seem to turn up at Goodison for some reason. Always a hard game against these.

Wont happen but I feel a 3-5-2 would best suit us against these - their strength will be from set pieces and their pacey wide players getting space to cut inside / whip crosses in.

For me having 3 CB's helps defend aerially & cut the space out for balls in the box hitting one of thier players.

Also would allow Digne & Sidibe to get up the pitch without worrying about tracking Zaha & Townsend/Ayew.

I think we need to win this one, becuase we have 5 or 6 after it which are all tough games. That doesn't mean we can't win them, but I will feel more relaxed going into that run if we have 3 more points on the board.
Also it's a chance to go level 5th which, given where we were after Silva left is amazing really
