I am still angry at the PL overturning it or reducing the suspension, whatever it was. The man had murder in his eyes when he went at Gomes, and quite possibly could have ended his career.
Spurs released a statement a few hours after that game, saying Son was ok.

It must rank as one of the biggest brass neck moments ever.

Of course they couldn't mention any concern for Gomes. It was some deflection tactic. Son went into that tackle with spite and aggression.

Took me a few days to calm down after that.

It also denied us Gomes at the top of his game.

I'm a huge fan and advocate of Pickford, yet without their first goal I couldn't see them getting anything from the game; the substitutions were not the issue.
I’m a fan of Pickford too, and perhaps he should have done much better there. But we gave them a goal.
However our third was an own goal. Had we gone in at 2-0 at half time, I think it would have been a different result. There was no excuse for the negativity and all defensive substitutions, we wouldn’t see our red neighbours go 3-0 up at half time and then sit back for the next 50 minutes or so. We were lucky, and we should have been more ruthless.

Breaking news for you and all the other negative whiners here... we won, scored 3, got 3 points that most thought we'd never get
You joined this forum less than three months ago and you want to criticise “whiners” as if you know us all?
Maybe some of us aren’t ten years old and remember 11 years of negativity, plucky little Everton, knives to gunfights, glass ceilings, big games bottled, and dross. Yet our manager considers that to be 11 years of “success”.
He was negative then and he’s negative now. At 3-0 up we should not have sat back, especially after gifting them a goal. His substitutions were all inherently negative, no attempt to put Spurs back onto the back foot.
I’m sorry if you think I’m a whiner, but I hated the decade of Moyes brand football. The only difference now is that he doesn’t have Victor Anichebe to bring on after 80 minutes every game. Otherwise it’ll be the same one dimensional game plan, just wait and see.

It does not matter how long ago you joined this forum, it only takes a few hours to see that there are loads of whiners here (and at Goodison, too). No, I don't know you all, and don't want to, but I do know what I have read and you and others are whiners. As for ten years old, well, I don't know your age but I am sure I am older that you (if not, then you are really old), so good attempt at a cheap jibe, but nope, it fails. Then you rant on about Moyes as if I am some huge fan of his, well, wrong again. In a nutshell, stop moaning.
PS. Did you go to Bucharest in 2005 when we got thrashed 5-1 by Dinamo? Thought not, but I mention it because that was the day I gave up on Moyes. But now, for me, it's a case of any port in a storm.
