I'm not nervous at all!

They've got some dangerous players - Suarez, Sturridge, Coutinho - but so have we - Lukaku, Mirallas, Baines, Pienaar, Barkley.

If we play to our potential and pass them off the park, we'll win - that's where Barry and McCarthy come in.

Jags and Distin need to be on top of their game to keep their front pair quiet...ideally Coleman will clatter Suarez early on and get a yellow, Suarez reacts and gets red!

If we can p*ss all over their media bonfire by beating them soundly, that'd be amazing.

Sadly I reckon a draw, with some form of controversy along the way.

They can't hurt us if they don't have the ball. Keep the passing game going, and get into them when we lose possession.
 
A minor thing cos he was gash for years but I'm looking forward to there being no Carragher being allowed to kick the **** out of our players with impunity and spending the game in the ref's ear 'ole.

Sure his bezzy GBH will more than make up for it though.

I never see us winning Derby's

We very rarely go into these games and play the way we know we can

Lets hope Martinez has the players up for this put calm enough not to panic on the ball
 
We need Lukaku's beast mode to be on for this game like in Newcastle game. Would play mirallas and pienaar in wide midfield positions and Barkley has to start. Gareth Barry and James McCarthy so important for us. Hope Barry has similar game to Chelsea game. If those two play well, we have a great chance.

Our biggest boost is that we dont have that coward Moyes in the dugout. Martinez I have complete faith in sending his players out to win it. Whether we do or not depends on them hitting the heights they need to. But at least we aren't beaten before we start anymore.
 

Had my first derby dream last night, Suarez scored a free kick, and Lukaku scored an equaliser in the final minute.

I think we'll control m/f anyway whether they go with one or two up. Very confident we'll win that battle.

It's moving in our direction. The signs are good. :D
 
Their defence is weak. Their left back situation is their concern, I'm not sure whether Deulofeu can use this in his arsenal and put them to the sword. He's proven he can do it against lesser players and players don't like to see him come at them. I think he'll get 30 minutes at the end.
