Everton chairman Bill Kenwright on BT Sport:

"I feel in another place. I didn't sleep last night. I feel really nervous.

"The noise will be deafening today. Not only the blue side but the red side as well. It is a powerful city for football.

"We are desperate for a derby win. We are desperate for that feeling on a Saturday night when you don't know what to do with yourself because you are so happy. You know why else we want a derby win, Roberto's little girl was born yesterday and we want a derby win for her."

we're bound to win now, COYB

amount of touches in a box? what a terrible stat. someone could do 20 keepy-uppys on the far right edge of the box with his team losing 1-0. what help would that do?

Same with most of the stat's mate, i'm sure that's why Nev used to give Coleman so many hospital passes (for completion purposes).

And there is the difference. Moyes would never drop Osman for Barkley. And he would also have probably brought in Hibbert and pushed Coleman into RW.

COME ON YOU BLUES, SMASH THESE [Poor language removed] EVERYWHERE

basically he would have done what rodgers has done. Striker not fit, bring in allen i.e. neville, instead of moses/luis alberto. gone with flannaghan over cissokho which i think is a more defensive option as well, not seen much of both.

Everton v Liverpool (1245 GMT)

"Been up since 6am waiting for this game. Great to see Ross Barkley starting. Will be good to see him dominate Joe Allen in midfield."
