What about the umpteen niggly fouls by Lucas which should have seen 2 yellow cards. I would say we deserved to win because we created more and were the better team overall. We also outpassed the passing team.

Liverpool have been more of a counter attacking team than passing team this season

It could have been red, but it was not outrageous that he gave a yellow.. and if you look at the history of these games the latest years, how many times should not a Liverpool player have been sent off?

What a refreshing attacking performance after years of back to the wall under Moyes. The Baines substitution was again forward thinking. Although I hope Baines isn't going to be out.

Mirallas put a shift in. All in all we were the better side. The downside of all this is conceding from three set pieces. Needs working on. The Suarez free kick was 100% Howard's fault. Awful positioning and just asking for a goal. Disappointed with the draw but could have been worse.

Should have been a red and would have changed the game in their favour, i can't see how that can be denied.

But what also can't be denied is that its the first in what should be a long line of reffing decisions favouring us in derbies to make things fair.
