I don't think people realise just how much we are going to miss him or how difficult he is to replace until he's gone....
Let's just focus on his and our history.
Relegated in an awful Villa side, we moved fastest to activate his release fee (£6m) and brought him in. He was dynamite, eventually earning a move we couldn't turn down (£30m) to PSG. We bought an already quad damaged Gbamin for £25m. Gbamin never really played for us, and eventually we moved on and got another replacement for Gana. We bought Gana back (~£3.5m). He has been a very consistent performer and so reliable in terms of injury, suspension, and being that little forcefield that operates to protect the CB's. Runs all day and his low centre of gravity allows him to nip in and disrupt opposition possession so often we take it for granted. Only the sides that can isolate his work for us out of the game tend to get the better of us. Which says more about the players and set ups that are able to achieve this and the majority that can't. I'd offer 12 months with another 12 option.

I hope we give him at least another year, I'd love to see him at BMD.

You know what guys?

Despite Leicester being sh... poor, we were miles apart. And why?

David effin Moyes. He's home.

You know, in this club with resources other than Bill's (rest in peace you sob, you we're a Blue after all) forgotten Arteta stash.

Every single mofo of us knows this is the match made in

We fight, we grind.

I love this.
