Mouths off that foreigners have taken his job (despite never working a day in his life)

Well, we already know that Vardy is the type of person who would call a Japanese man a 'Jap' and then say he didn't realise it was racist:

Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy has said he was "ignorant" rather than racist when he used a racial slur against a Japanese man in a casino.

"The word 'racist' is a permanent stain against my name. It's worse than a criminal record."

"I was angry at the time, and I'd had too much to drink, but I'd never have used the word 'Jap' if I'd known it was racist."

Pretty confident on their forum, also seem to think we're going to rock up and have 30% of the ball whilst kicking them everywhere. Not sure they've got the memo that Dyche has left.

One them also thinks that a positive result is there if Ndiaye is kept quiet because we have nothing else. Must have missed all the world-beaters in their squad like.

Faes is a bigger goal threat for the opposition team than he is for Leicester most of the time

Another must win game, one of the so called easy ones. Tactically we have to play a bit different. No good playing three big centre backs against Vardy who still has the pace to burn. Can't play a high line either or our defence could be chasing shadows. Put the pressure on the fox's dodgy defence and keep it on from the start. I expect three points from this one but DLC possibly out will Beto step up? Coyb 👮

Beto for DCL means you have to change the system. DCL whilst not being a prolific goalscorer, leads the line with the best of them. Strong, good hold up play and good in the air. All things Beto isn’t good at. Beto plays on the shoulder of defenders and relies on through balls from the midfielders. That’s why if you’re playing Beto, you can’t play Doucoure. Armstrong should be trusted here. Has already shown he has fantastic vision and can thread a ball through the eye of a needle, a skill none of our other midfielders have. People will say “it was only Peterborough” and fair enough, but that was an example of Armstrong’s vision. Threaded a ball through a flock of players in front of him for Beto to run on to and round the keeper.

That’s Beto’s strength. Play Armstrong centrally between Ndiaye and Lindstrom, with Gana and Garner sat behind them.
I've always felt people looked at DCL's hold up play through rose-coloured glasses due to his aerial ability, not necessarily because he keeps and retains possession long enough to bring his teammates into it...possibly this is down to being isolated, but I trust my eyes to judge it even so.

Despite not being easy on the eye, I feel Beto actually holds the ball up better, mainly by being combative. Its doubtful he can maintain his level over 90, but from a hold up play standpoint, I don't think he is any worse.

I remember seeing him attempt to control the ball at the weekend and it just went underneath his foot and away, I think he's absolute bodge and not up to it in the premier league. We need to find an alternative as soon as possible. I hope I am massively wrong but we all know he's got an ability limit.
...and this is what I meant in the other post...his first touch is worse than Lukaku's, but as often as not he will bang into someone, stretch for it, and keep it long enough to get a pass off.

When Beto invariably goes off knackered after 70 minutes, who do we have to replace him? Is Chermiti fit again yet or do we have any young players looking to step up?

…the loss of Mangala is a blow but I seem to recall the CM axis of Garner, Gueye and Doucoure being effective last season and resulted in Onana being benched so we might be ok (apologies if I have that wrong).

On another point, hopefully the omission of Stan Mills from last nights U21 game means he makes the bench on Saturday. It might just be that Moyes has already seen enough of Harrison and Baines could well be an influence in suggesting he looks at Mills. I’d be chuffed if he’s finally involved.

I'm honoured 🤣
Yes, we're not all bad and I'd go further by paying homage to the wonderful Everton side of the mid 80's which was one of my all time favourite teams

Southall (The best goalkeeper in my lifetime)
Stevens
Mountfield
Ratcliffe
Van Den Hauwe
Reid
Steven
Bracewell
Sharp
Gray
Sheedy

A great great team and totally scuppered from fulfilling their destiny by those over the road from you

P.S I'd rip your arm off for a draw on Saturday - Most of us are very realistic about how poor our current is

I get offended if I'm called a Brit, because I'm a Englishman :)
