I keep thinking back to that horrible run in '98/'99 when we eventually thumped Boro 5-0, or even 18 months ago when we scored 5 at Brighton to halt a horrific run of form.

But in both those cases we were still capable of scoring. 1-0 with a late penalty is as much as I can hope for, and that's very optimistic.
That’ll do

Fantastic result. Don't think anyone played that well, although Pickford made a couple of good early saves and Young was solid. Good free kick, but the keeper really needs to set that wall better surely? He didn't do much else, but McNeil's deadball delivery was the best it's been for ages which together with their inability to defend crosses was the difference.

Hat tip to Tarkowski for the very very slight touch that might have taken the ball onto the post.

Good cameo from Broja. Fingers crossed we see more of that (and that he can stay fit).

Know he only played 7+ minutes but Broja looked great for the few minutes he played. More than happy with the win and 4 goals, obviously the VAR decisions were a pain and Harrison’s total inability to hit the target from mere yards from. But hey massive 3 point
Yeah harrison - F me.. I wouldn't back him to score in a brothel..

I felt kinda sorry for Beto tonight- when the subs were coming on you could see him in the background looking genuinely disappointed in not coming on.
