People shouldn't hate on him. He's excited about a new job and getting to work with his best mate. He's still only young. I remember what I was like at that age. We got some good years out of him, plus a £60m profit. Let's all move on. At least, unlike when Rooney left, we've got lots to look forward to.

This really, he has no affinity to us or the fans and why should he. He is a footballer plying his trade and he now has the chance to play for a club in the Champions League whilst doing it with his best mate.

Unlike us guys who would give their right arm to pull the Royal blue on, Lukaku is just a young lad wanting to play Champs League and better himself. Its a shame he couldn't see the progress we are making but football careers are short and the lad was sought after. We have had a good few years out of him and now have 75 million plus to buy adequate replacements.

Can't stand him, never warmed to him from day one because of the constant disrespect he has shown.

BUT, I honestly don't blame him for not signing a new contract. Let's be honest here, he was on 70k with us and was offered a new deal on 140k.

He's now joining one of the worlds biggest clubs, with far more likelihood of Winning medals (sad but true), playing champions league football and on a wage of a reported 250k a week, nearly double what we offered.

Can't blame the bloke at all.

He's still a bell mind!

Wasent mirallas his best mate, oh and then geri came along set up a few goals and he was his best mate, oh and dont forget kone for a while, and he got us to sign his 'best mate' bolasie.

Rom's 'best mate' is whoever is setting him up with goals at the time.
His actual best mate is that guy he loooks at in the mirror every day
 
The posters complaining about and slating Lukaku whilst all for the return of Former Manchester United Football Club Legend Wayne Rooney are rather confused people.

Good luck Rom. Hope you do well personally but will only hope you win trophies if it's at the cost of some other team I dislike more than your new one.
