Everton Agree Fee With Man Utd For Lukaku

From the moment he arrived he was looking at the exit door and from the moment Raiola arrived he had his hand of the exit door handle.

Lukaku did well for Everton, he scored lots of goals and has eventually earned us somewhere between three and four times what we paid for him.
This is right up there as one of the best bits of business ever by the club.
Ironically , Lukaku may have provided the finance by his sale to allow Everton to pass out his new club next season as they have lost Ibrahimovic and Lukaku has to replace all the goals he scored.

As I said earlier Lukaku did well for Everton, but , as we know it isn't all good news. He goes through long periods of basically being "useless" , disinterested and lazy, although to be fair, he is lazy most of the time.

Kevin Campbell covered it well this morning on SKY when he was talking about what Lukaku has to do to become a good CL player and he has to make big adjustments to his game.

I do not wish him ill, but I don't wish him success, I think that is true of any player forcing a move from our club.
I do not feel this move will be a huge success, I think there are a number of things that can go wrong including Mourinho remembering why he didn't rate him in the first place.

Get off your high horses lads.

"Thank you for the goals Rom"

He's completely took a dump on the club, saw us as a stepping stone from day one and belittled us to the media.

I hope we smash united next year and make his life hell from the crowd.

Don't think its belittling of him when he says he wants to play in the Champions league and win trophies.

Its fans like you who are belittling the tradition of Everton for not wanting us to be successful and praising inferior players because they say nice things about the fans.

- As never anything positive about Everton
- Talked up a move away since day 1, including his first ever interview. Stating, IIRC, Everton have developed some players that have moved into bigger clubs, hopefully that'll be me
- For years talks about Chelsea, how they're his club and he has unfinished business, then signs for Utd
- before he's even signed the contract he's talking about them having the best fans in the world, LOL
- on a lap of honour, when the fans are chanting his name, he's on his phone watching streams from Chelsea winning the league
- gave one of the most selfish performances I have ever witnessed against Utd away. Potentially costed us 3 points
- told Ashley Williams to be quiet because he couldn't trap a bag of cement

Sssssssssnake

Oh no a departing player didn't use a regurgitated soundbite written by their media team to thank the fans oh no

True - best just closing this thread now. Love him or hate him he's gone and no longer our concern. Far better using our time and energy posting about the amazing squad we are are currently building.

Spot on. Great post. Totally agree.

What did we expect him to say? "I'm happy to have joined a decent club with decent stadium and decent fans"

So what if he's gone a bit overboard with his comments when joining a new club. Far bigger things in life to get upset over.

We all know he wanted champions league football. He's got it now and we've got a good deal for it. Move on
