Exactly, they are playing someone in midfield close to him to allow for his poor first touch, so he can just prod it if he doesn't catch it right first time.
 
Can Everton start getting medals for champions leagues and league wins in United's future. The amount we have contributed to United's success. We deserve something. Rooney for the last 13 Lukaku for another decade of a [Poor language removed] load of goals. Why did we give our goal machine to our closest rival in the league again? Progress? It's counterproductive even for all the tea in China.

Giving them Moyes and Fellini offset any success we gave them. I think we're massively responsible for their fall from grace.

fall from grace being they did the double last season and are back in the champions league paying world record fees with now arguably the best manager in the world? It was just a bad 3 year patch which would have happened if they hired moyes or somebody else imo.

It has an uncomfortable feel of feeder club about it.

Hopefully Barkley isn't going there or it will be truly embarrassing.

I beg to differ. Even LVG with his well worn playbook went in there and grabbed them a CL spot and a trophy.

David Moyes will forever be known as the manager who nearly killed a global football organisation. He has to be the worst manager of their history.
 
Better managers than Moyes would probably have struggled and failed to retain the title that year, but to go from champions to 7th was just utterly hilarious. Very few managers in world football would have done worse.
