I think this is a two edged sword he is desperate to buy for Utd & terrified that Roberto does better than he did & prove he wasn't that good after all . Won nothing in 11 years why did so many fans not care about that !!!

I agree - but Martinez is under a lot less pressure over this than Moyes. Moyes desperately needs to sign someone.

Martinez seems to have a level head and a steady hand. We'll be all right.

I can't really talk myself as I'm a armchair fan through and through but Goodison should be rocking today.

Never was, from the day he started, but it was mainly about his abilities as a coach at the top level. Given some of his behaviour over the last 15 months or so, I'm not surprised at what he has become.'Since I started at this club on July 1st'...pull the other one, Moyes, you were working for United before the end of last season,and probably from Christmas onwards.
 

He's getting impatient with little Everton.

Mind you, I suppose he's been encouraged to think that way by our owners. Letting him see out the last two games after joining United and then letting him feel he had the power to install his own successor...he must feel such a supine stance deserves to be repaid by a kick in the bollocks.
 
As much as what he's said makes me fume, I genuinely laughed out loud at the part he says "if I'd been Everton manager and Sir Alex had came asking". Comparing himself to Sir Alex already because he's got his usual win against Swansea out of the way...
