Hope we play man utd in the 3rd of the fa cup at old trafford and Martinez everton do what Martinez Wigan done to everton in the quarter finals of the the cup last year

People arn't thinking straight. Fellaini isn't a 25m player, in no way shape or form is he worth that much. There's a reason no club bothered to activate the clause because it's just an unrealistic price tag for someone who's yet to prove he's a top class CDM. Ye's he's great behind the striker but his experience in midfield is limited and from what i saw against norwich fouling people and winning most header's isn't worth 25m which is what Everton are asking for. It's an obscene amount.

David Silva cost city 24m. Navas worth - 14m, Thiago Alcantara - 21m. All midfielder's with higher cielings and more to their game than Fellaini. Hey, I'll hold my hands up if he becomes a top class CDM but i'm yet to be convinced.

The baines bid while slightly low isn't as crazy as you make out. Best Lb in the world? Really? He lacks pace and has never impressed on international duty. I'm not trying to discredit your players as it's normal own fans will have a slightly different view of their team's players but this is my opinion.

Baines in 28 going 29. He is not worth anything over 15m, asking for 25m is unrealistic. Left back's are generally cheap yet you want Baines to be the most expensive left back of all time? At 28?

In the end I hope we bag Fellaini personally, As I feel he gives us more options.

They aren't for sale unless the price is right mate, therefore if you want them, and Baines doesn't turn you down again, you'll pay what they are worth to us.

Fernandinho 30mil....
The prices you put on felli and baines may be what they are worth to united, but they are worth a lot more to us they are intergral parts of our small squad, and unfortunately for you its us that decides what price they go for not you...

All that says to me is that up until last season you didn't really watch Fellaini play.

Before he was moved behind the striker he was dominating games as a CM, and for a couple of seasons too. You've just shown that you haven't watched him until Sky started to buzz off him after the United game at the beginning of the season.

As for Baines, can you name a better LB? Again, you're just showing that you've watched very little of us and you're just assuming because we aren't a "big" club that we can't possibly have world class players. He "never impresses" on international duty because he's deployed as a bog standard left back and isn't allowed anywhere near the influence or roam that he has at Everton. Hence why we rate him so highly.

Yes Silva cost £24m, a few years ago and from an incredibly poor Valencia outfit. So that is invalid too.

Navas, again, came from a very poor Seville side who needed to sell. So that's invalid as well.

Bale is about to cost Real Madrid about £90m. He isn't 5 or 6 times the player of Fellaini, nowhere near.

Shouldn't you be watching MUTV or poncing around Tesco rather than lurking on here?
Fellaini would waltz into Utds midfield that boasts such talent as Carrick, Jones, Cleverley, Anderson, Young, Giggs and Valencia....whilst Baines would increase RVP's goal return significantly.

Your a tight-arsed Yankee Franchise with an even tighter arsed Glaswegian puppet being operated by old red nose himself.

Anyone do a photoshop of Moyes sat on Fergies lap ventriloquist - style.....they say a picture paints a thousand words

You are buying from within the league, which will always cost you more. Its also a league newly awash with money and your team isn't exactly short of it. We also don't want to sell them and are under no obligation to do so.
Fellaini is almost in a class of his own and if you think he is not worth what we hopefully are looking to charge you, don't buy him. I'd rather we kept him now.

Really? Your negative manager doesn't think so... as it was he who help set the release clause fee in the first place!

Ta ta.

Good post mate, didn't really think about what there worth to Everton correct. But if that's the case our valuation shouldn't be laughed at. It's Everton who made the bids public making us look like fools and inept. If you didn't think the bids were worthy of discussion why not tell us in private than take the moral high ground - E.g: Martinez "I don't like the way United operate"
