Granted I've been too lazy an refuse to read through 150+ pages of this thread and I live in the states so i dont have to deal with liverpool fans on a daily basis like many of you do, but I find it shocking that some are hoping for a loss Saturday. Even more shocking is that there are inquiries about how hard our players will play.
If we had a player that would give less than his all because there a chance the reds will win the league then we have a player that will surely quit on his team in the future. In no way should Roberto accept that loser mentality and take any player that doesnt give his all and ship him to Villa so he can quit on his team with the rest of the lot. But luckily i dont think our squad has that sort of makeup and I know Roberto doesn't either.

A draw will only result in a fume for the entire weekend, mitigated only slightly by the fact that point would guarantee Euro footy next season.

It's simple, we can finish fifth or six IMO and qualify for the Europa and while you can say it isn't mathematically on, I think we're more likely to finish fourth than seventh, and I do have to deal with them on a daily basis and the victory parade will end right outside my kitchen window.
