Hopefully the universe will conspire perfectly for us, for once:
  • Everton smash City in a dazzling display of sexy, sexy futbol. And go onto to giving Hull a similar spanking next week.
  • Liverpool lose against a dogged Palace side determined to show they can compete with anyone in the league.
  • City are buoyed by their Everton defeat, and go onto win their next 2 games adding 17 goals to the GD in the process.
  • Big Vic rolls Mertesacker and smashes home Brom's winner, Arsenal go onto to be held by a surprisingly stubborn Norwich side.
  • City lift the league title, tears at Anfield, Arsenal fans foaming at the mouth, Everton in the Champions League.
You better believe that the Blue Moon found me with a dream in my heart.

I'd give you odds of 2000/1 on that all happening.

Indeed it is all about opinions. And in mine, watching that shower showing off the PL trophy would be more painful and damaging to our relative standing than getting into Europe in Roberto's first season here.

Btw,

Having the same opinion as Mark Lawrenson + wearing a questionable ginger beard = Mark Lawrenson in fancy dress

That's not a recent photo, you know.

If we don't win we will be in for a slaughtering in the media and on the internet. It has got to the stage now, that the fate of this years Premier League, has come down to the 90 minutes at Goodison today.

There is one thing that this week has re-enforced and it is my opinion about the vicious and corrupting influence of the RS media, and that is them questioning the integrity of Everton Football club, our manager, players and supporters.

This is true.

What they are doing is projecting their own rotten core on to the outside and they see in others the dark heart that beats at the core of LFC.

We all know they threw that Chelsea game to stop United winning.

So they suspect every other team would do the same as them in similiar circumstances.

e.g. a hated rival lifting a prize.

They have to believe EFC and other teams would throw a game in those circumstances otherwise they would be forced to accept they are unique in this country as a despicable football club whose hatred of Manchester United in particular has driven them to the edge of distraction.

Never before have I been so grateful to my old dad for bringing me up to be an Evertonian.

I would hate to be in any way associated with that shower.

I'll have some of that then!

To hell with Liverpool.

Them winning the league will pale in comparison to when Everton win an unusual league and cup double next season, with Martinez and Co. parading the Premier League and Europa League trophies around Goodiosn next May.

Fair enough.

Did you keep the cuttings when you sheered that baby? You might get a decent price for it as a job lot if you can think of any flame-haired fugitives hiding in shame for any reason...

Win at City... Somehow qualify for CL... Win said CL whilst LFC finish 5th next season down to a last minute Suarez goal scoring for his new team Man Utd.

Fingers crossed.

The stand out feature of this past week has been the way the media and LFC supporters have called into question the integrity of Everton Football Club. The moment Gerrard slipped and presented Ba with a goal and subsequent defeat, the knives have been out first for Mourinho and then now fully focused on us.

So much so that Martinez has had to deal with the issue in the press and at his press conferences. 'What will Everton do against City? 'Will Everton go all out to win even though it may help LFC win the league?' Time and time again the RS dominated sports media have tried to focus on the integrity of our manager, the professionalism of our players and how 'bitter' our supporters are for not wanting LFC to win the league.

This has been a constant theme on the comments section in the Guardian, Telegraph, Independent etc.. LFC supporter after LFC supporter, taking their cue from writers and commentators, have tried to cast a cloud over Everton Football Club. Not one LFC supporter has taken on another LFC supporter and told them to wind their neck in, when commenting on them questioning the integrity and professionalism of our manager and players. They start their comments with, 'I'm sure Everton will try and win the game'. Says it all to me. Why are they doubting what we will do? Maybe it's a guilty conscience after the way they celebrated their lose against Chelsea in 2010 enabling them to win the league and deny Manu the title.

We are under the microscope this afternoon in our game against City. Anything the RS media and supporters perceive as us 'not wanting to win' will be pounced on shouted from the rooftops that we have 'sold out' the Premier League as a competition. We are so 'bitter' we would rather lose than win. We are the anti-Christ and should be banned from ever playing again.
