I doubt it mate,it will be more like dynamo Kiev,no colours or banners keeping a low profile,I expect Everton to put on coaches between the port and stadium before and after and we ll probably be kept in for an hour!

Surely someone will step in between now and Thursday?!?!

I know mate. At european games our police usually sets up a fan zone for away fans where they can have their fun in peace. Notorious Zenit got their own beach, so it could happen again. You'd get bused in and out of the stadium with police escort etc. Also its possible that we see an invasion of our promenade but that will definitely attract unwanted attention and Everton fans walking alone to the stadium might run into the wrong crowd, so I'm not sure the police will allow that... If it was up to me, I'd.give you a beach for the day and everybody would.have a great time
 
I was harassed in Rijeka by some pricks just coz I spoke a different accent and was assumed to be a Hajduk supporter. That's in my own country and it wasn't even a match day. It's anecdotal, but it happened, might not happen to you.

If you don't have to, don't wear Everton insignia would be my advice.
 

You must organized fan zone with croatian police. Contact the police and they will escort you to some beach, and after that to the game.
You really don't wanna bump in guys like these.

The whole point of supporting a football team is to feel as though you are part of something bigger.

I think there's nothing more cringey than people getting upset about individuals wanting to express themselves and show off their clubs colours!

Nobody's upset,everyone has been given the heads up if you get jumped in split because you are a walking souvenir shop youv only yourself to blame!
